The cosiest little pub in town
We want to make The Golden Lion the cosiest little pub in town and we hope that you will think it is. So come and enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of a real English pub. The Golden Lion epitomises the spirit of a traditional British pub - a meeting place for people from all walks of life, friends old and new. A place where the thoughts in your head are more important than the shirt on your back or the shoes on your feet.
If it’s entertainment you want, you can be almost certain there’s something happening at The Golden Lion.
We have a calendar of both regular weekly events and special activities and parties. Tuesday night is members night, Wednesday is curry night, Thursday is Bingo night, on Sunday we have a pub quiz from about 19:30 and on selected weekends we have live music too. If sport is what you’re looking for, then you definitely won’t be disappointed either. For example, you can watch football from all major competitions in England and Denmark and of course the Internationals. So if it’s on TV, we’re probably showing it at The Golden Lion.
